LQHBA To Award Five $1,000 Scholarships at Louisiana Downs Saturday

Five scholarships will be awarded by the LQHBA at Louisiana Downs on Saturday.

BOSSIER, CITY, LA�MARCH 26, 2021�The Louisiana Quarter Horse Breeders' Association will award five scholarships on Saturday (March 27) Mardi Gras Futurity and Derby Day at Louisiana Downs.

The scholarships will be worth $1,000 each. Registration begins at 11 a.m. (CDT), and students must be present when the drawings take place after the fifth race on Saturday. All students must be enrolled in a Louisiana High School to be elgible.

The LQHBA has granted more than $650,000 in scholarships since 2001. For more information, visit lqhba.com.
