Louisiana Downs Cancels Tuesday Race Card Due to Expected Weather Conditions

BOSSIER CITY, LA–JANUARY 13, 2024–Due to a forecast of prolonged precipitation and freezing temperatures in the immediate area, Louisiana Downs Management has canceled its race card for Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
"We feel that these conditions will present traveling difficulties, as well as unsafe track conditions," Jennifer Sokol, Louisiana Downs Racing Operations Manager said in a press release. "As always, our first and foremost concern is for the safety of our human and equine athletes."
Racing will resume on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Anyone with questions or concerns are encouraged to contact the racetrack.
